The Vengeful Polyglot

L’Shana Tovah

Posted on: September 30, 2011

Pardon my absence! I was busy completing my first Rosh Hashana as executive chef (my mom played sous chef for a week to help me out, and was very good sport about my inability to convert “a bit” into a concrete measurement). After chicken soup, vegetarian soup, matzo balls, two noodle kugel, two potato kugel, two briskets, an apple cake, a honey cake, and a last minute fish emergency, let’s just say I’m looking forward to Yom Kippur, if you know what I mean. 😛

(By the way, those are not my balls pictured, but let me just state for the record: I’m told they were aesthetically pleasing, large, and delicious, all puns intended.)
